Fluffy, a white and black female Cat sadly taken away from us in 2007 by a dog attack.
She was the life and the soul of the household and was also part of the family, even for a short
period of time.
Her favourite trait was running after her own shadow lol but that was what was the best of Fluffy.
She seemed to be there whenever we were down and needed someone to cuddle.
She will be sorely missed

She'll sit and cuddle up to me,
but she's not you.
I try so hard to look and see
Different attributes to you.
Don't get me wrong, I love her,
but you're still in my mind,
on that sad day when I came home
from work only to find
that you were dying in front of me
I didn't realise it at the time
It was only when I picked you up
I knew time wasn't on our side.
I rushed you to the vets
as quickly as I could
but before we all knew it
You'd gone to play
once more in the woods.
How could someone hurt you,
and leave you there to die.
If I should live forever
I'll never know the reason why.
On the memorial of Fluffy, it is written that she was killed by a dog attack. I told my daughter Lindsay this so she wouldn't be vengeful or hurt more, but the truth was that someone shot Fluffy.
I am only too relieved to know that she was still alive when I got to her and that she knew I was there. She didn't die on her own. That I could NEVER have accepted.
She was like a baby to me, she'd curl up on my lap every chance she got. She'd go to sleep on my side if I were lay down on the couch. I miss her. xxxxxxxxxxx

The day you left broke our hearts
and the tears fell like rain,
but knowing that you now have wings
helps to ease the pain.

it is Angel dust from you
and when we see a shooting star
our Angel just passed through.

our Angel again is near.

Jack Frost no longer exists,
it's now a visit from our Angel
and he's left a special gift.

we know now when we awaken
that an Angel has kissed our face.

and the sun shines from above,
we feel the warmth wrap around us,
you've given an Angel hug.

every day and night,
you try to end the pain we have
and the tears that we still cry.

Though Heaven is your home now
and Angel wings you wear,
you stay close to those you love,
until they join you there.

Happy Birthday Fluffy
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Not many people realise how hard it is to get over losing a pet. They don't realise they are part of the family and are like people.
There isn't a day goes by when I think of you but you're in Catty heaven now.
